Jill Klein - Executive DirectorJill has worked with Yukon River residents for over eight years. Jill originally came to Alaska to work for the Yukon River Inter-Tribal Watershed Council, then served as a YRDFA Program Director for two years before taking over the helm as Executive Director. Her work is currently focused on developing YRDFA's ability to advance its mission. Originally from New York, Jill has a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from the University of Vermont and a Master's degree in International Management from the School for International Training in Brattleboro, Vermont. Jill has lived in many parts of the United States, including Arizona, Vermont and South Carolina and spent three years in Israel working on peace and environment projects. Jill's work in Israel inspired her to continue her work on cross-cultural aspects of natural resource use and to move to Alaska to continue that endeavor. She enjoys living in Alaska, and travels to visit her family back east on an annual basis. Her favorite hobby is taking her dog on outdoor adventures. Contact Infojill@yukonsalmon.org |
